SafetyMat® (hereafter “SafetyMat® USA, Corp”) manufactures all products under strict quality control and high manufacturing standards to ensure consistent, reliable performance. With proper installation and regular maintenance, customers can expect long-lasting use across residential, commercial, and hospitality applications.

Warranty Overview

Because installation environments vary significantly — including surface type, cleaning routines, humidity levels, occupancy, foot traffic, and staff maintenance practices — SafetyMat® does not provide any performance-duration or adhesion-duration warranty.

SafetyMat® warrants its products only against manufacturing defects.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

2. What Is Covered

SafetyMat® warrants that all products are:

  • Free from manufacturing defects
  • Free from material defects that affect the product at time of purchase
  • Free from adhesion defects caused by faulty production (not installation)

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, SafetyMat® may — at its sole discretion — repair, replace, or refund the defective product.

3. What Is Not Covered

Due to the nature of peel-and-stick vinyl mats, vinyl flooring and the wide range of installation environments, the following are not covered under any warranty:

  • Duration or lifespan of adhesion
  • Edge lifting caused by moisture, water intrusion, or improper surface prep
  • Failure due to installation on textured, uneven, porous, or non-approved surfaces

Installation-Related Issues

  • Any issues caused by improper installation
  • Applying to surfaces with soap residue, oils, hard water buildup, waxes, or cleaning film
  • Failure to follow SafetyMat® installation instructions

Cleaning & Chemical Damage

  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals
  • Damage from bleach, ammonia, abrasive pads, or high-alkaline cleaners
  • Damage caused by steam cleaning or pressure washing

  • Damage caused by commercial housekeeping tools
  • Discoloration or clouding from improper cleaners

Environmental & Site Conditions

  • Damage caused by standing water
  • Mold, mildew, or growth caused by external building/environmental conditions
  • Extreme temperature or humidity conditions

Other Exclusions

  • Products altered, cut, trimmed, or modified after purchase
  • Products damaged after delivery
  • Products installed in non-recommended environments

4. Warranty Claim Process

Labor costs, installation costs, removal, cleaning, or replacement of any adjacent materials are not covered.
